Suppose you are contacted by God. Assume that you are left in no doubt that it is God who has just been communicating with you.
God commands you to fly a plane into a building full of ‘sinners’
Please try to actually answer the question. “God would not command this” is not an answer to this hypothetical question.
Would you obey God’s command?

Assuming this view of God, I'd tell him to go to hell.
I'd say, "Holy Shit God! How long have you been watching!?"
or...
"Sorry man, Allah has you beat..."
“God would not command this” is not an answer to this hypothetical question.
Not only that, but it's completely unjustified. On what basis could the respondent know what God would or would not do? God -- if we go by the Bible -- has in the past definitely issued more... um... morally counterintuitive commands.
I think my comment got lost...
I would answer 'yes' - but all the weight comes in knowing that it is indeed God doing the requesting.
